The BMS Impact Soil Sampler features a clever split-frame design, allowing you to take and inspect clean, professional soil samples without damage or effort. Ideal for accurate turf analysis in even the toughest ground conditions.

Getting a true picture of your soil profile is essential, but it’s often ruined by the sampling tool itself. Traditional samplers can smudge or compress the core as it’s extracted, making proper analysis difficult. The Impact MK3 Soil Sampler solves this with a simple, effective split-frame design.

Once you’ve driven the sampler into the ground, the frame unlatches and splits into two halves. This allows you to open the tool and lift the soil core out cleanly, with no dragging, smudging, or damage to the soil layers. You get a perfect, undisturbed cross-section every time, ready for immediate inspection.

Originally developed in-house with Chris Wood of the ECB, this design was tested and proven by professional cricket pitch inspectors. This MK3 version includes further refinements for even greater durability and ease of use in compacted ground. It’s a no-nonsense tool for professionals who need accurate results with less effort.
