The BMS Big Banana Dew Switch V2 is a lightweight, multi-functional tool designed to effortlessly clear dew, worm casts, and debris from various turf surfaces. Its durable, reinforced fibreglass tip and ergonomic handle ensure comfortable, efficient turf management.

When you need to clear morning dew efficiently, the Big Banana is a straightforward, no-nonsense tool for the job. We designed it to be both lightweight and durable for daily use by professional greenkeepers.

The handle is made entirely from aluminium, keeping the weight down to reduce fatigue, and features comfortable rubber hand grips for a secure hold, even in the damp. The business end is a long, flexible fibreglass rod that’s tough enough for daily work. This V2 model features a new reinforced black sleeve at the tip, strengthening the most common point of failure to give you a longer-lasting tool.

With an extended length of approximately 4 metres, the Big Banana gives you excellent coverage to clear large areas like greens and tees quickly. It’s also effective at removing worm casts and other light debris like pine needles without marking or bruising the turf. The fibreglass rod is fully replaceable, so you don’t have to buy a whole new switch when it eventually wears out. Just a practical tool, built to last, that does the job well.

How It Works

Simply extend the fibreglass rod from the handle and sweep it across the turf surface. The flexible rod will flick away dew, debris, and worm casts without bruising the grass. When finished, collapse the rod back into the handle for easy transport and storage.

FAQ

Q: Is the fibreglass end section replaceable?

A: Yes. The 2.5-metre fibreglass rod is designed to be replaced if it gets worn or damaged. The V2 version features a stronger, reinforced design. You can order the replacement part separately (SKU: 23515).

Q: How long is it?

A: It’s approximately 4 metres when fully extended, giving you excellent reach. It collapses down to around 2.5 metres for transport and storage.
