Spare Sarel Spike – Golf Course Aeration

Don’t let a bent or missing spike slow you down. This is the official replacement spike for all BMS pedestrian Sarel Rollers and Seed Slotters. Made from high-tensile steel, it’s built to withstand the rigours of professional turf aeration. The included nylock (shake-proof) nut ensures it stays firmly in place, so you can get back to work without worrying about loose parts.

It’s the same spike we use on the Sarel Rollers trusted by grounds teams at places like Wimbledon Lawn Tennis and the War Graves Commission, so you know it’s up to the job. Keeping a few spares on hand is just common sense – it means a quick, simple fix on the spot, minimising downtime and keeping your aeration schedule on track.

Each spike is designed for a straightforward replacement. Simply undo the old nut from inside the Sarel cylinder, remove the damaged spike, and fit the new one, securing it tightly with the provided nylock nut.

Important: This spike is for our manual, pedestrian Sarel Rollers and hand tools only. It is not suitable for our tractor-mounted TT Sarel Spikers (TT2055).

How It Works

• Unscrew and remove the old nylock nut from inside the Sarel Roller cylinder.
• Pull out the old or damaged spike from the outside.
• Insert the new spike into the hole.
• From inside the cylinder, securely fasten the new nylock nut.
