Turf Care
Turf care is one of the signifiers of a successful sports venue. Meticulous turf management is often the hallmark and standard that golf courses and sports venues are compared by.
Turf care tools are mainly used by groundsmen and greenkeepers to maintain the overall quality of an outdoor area. However, a selection of these hand tools can be used for everyday maintenance by your staff, such as rakes, mallets, dew brushes, dew switches and pitchmark repair tools.
To reach that next level of quality, turf aeration tools such as corer collectors, sarel spikers, seed slotters and spikers can be used for making holes in preparation for seeds to be spread.
For the more technical turf expert, we also offer agronomist tools such as stimp meters and grass height measuring prisms. Our extensive range of tools such as soil samplers and quadrats can be used to examine sections of the ground to ensure there is no disease and that the soil quality is correct for your venue.
For periods of turf repair and maintenance, our dragmats and drag brushes allow for the effective spreading and rubbing in of top dressing materials such as lawn dressing, seed or fertilisers. Greenkeepers and groundsmen can further improve their turf care practices by using our levelawns and lutes, ideal for spreading, levelling and sieving any top dressings.
